Asyvia Powell-Brawner, MD

Asyvia Powell-Brawner, M.D. grew up in Jacksonville, FL. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree at University of South Florida and stayed to complete medical school at University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. She went on to complete her residency in Ophthalm at University of Mississippi Medical Center followed by completion of a Neuro-Ophthalmology and adult Strabismus fellowship at University of Minnesota. Dr. Powell-Brawner is one of Comprehensive Ophthalmologists but also has special interests in Double Vision, Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension, Optic Neuropathy, Blepharospasm, and Hemifacial Spasm.

Outside of work she is married, an avid board game connoisseur, and has her hands full with 5 kitty fur babies.
